Two of Salisbury’s youth sides will meet in the final of the Wiltshire FA Youth Cup, with the game now to take place at the Ray Mac.

The final of the county cup competition had been due to be played at Melksham Town’s Oakfield Stadium, but with both sides being attached to Salisbury FC, the game has been moved to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday, 18th March. The match will kick off at 7:45 pm and will be between Salisbury’s Under 18s and Under 17s.

Salisbury’s Under 18s beat Trowbridge Town Under 18s 6-0 in their semi-final, whilst it took the Under 17s penalties to overcome Amesbury Town’s Under 18s.

Prior to the semi-final win over Trowbridge, Salisbury Under 18s beat Calne Town Under 18s in the quarter-finals and Calne Town Youth FC U18 Lions in the second round.

The Salisbury Under 17s had already overcome Ferndale Rodbourne FC U17 in the quarter-finals, Malmesbury Victoria Youth Development in the 3rd round, Wroughton Youth FC U17 Blue in the second round. and Trowbridge Town U17 Eagles in the first round.

Salisbury’s first team manager commented on the success of both the youth sides in the competition, “I’m really pleased for everyone involved. It’s a fantastic achievement, and it highlights how well the Salisbury Youth are performing. I’m sure it will be a cracking final and one we will all look forward to attending.”
