Salisbury FC are delighted to announce the signing of Tommy-Lee Higgs after a successful trial with the club, subject to FA approval.

Higgs, 20, spent last season with Bognor Regis Town, scoring 24 goals and winning the Players’ Player award after a season that saw the West Sussex side relegated from the Isthmian League Premier Division.

A product of the Southampton youth system, Higgs made 21 appearances for Saints in the U18 Premier League, scoring nine goals in those games. He also spent time during the 2022/23 season on loan with Gosport Borough.

Higgs made his first appearance for Salisbury against Downton on Saturday (5th July), scoring the third of Salisbury’s goals in a five-goal win for the Whites.

Salisbury’s management team have worked hard to get the deal over the line, beating off interest from other clubs to sign the forward.

Callum Hart said, “We are really pleased to bring in Tommy, we’ve had to beat off stiff competition from other sides to bring him to the Ray Mac.

“He scored plenty of goals last season for a struggling Bognor side and has impressed during his trial. We are looking forward to seeing what he can do in a white shirt this season.”
