Salisbury FC are delighted to announce the signing of central defender, Canice Carroll.
The 25-year-old brings a wealth of experience in the Vanarama National League South having been part of the Oxford City side that won promotion the season before last.
Carroll won won a place in Vanarama’s National League South team of the Season whilst with with Oxford City in 2022/23.
The centre back, who has also played in midfield has had a successful youth international career, playing up to under-21 level for the Republic of Ireland.
Carroll is a product of the Oxford United academy has also played at Swindon Town, Carlisle United, and Stevenage. He’s made close to 100 appearances for Oxford City.
Brian Dutton is pleased to have got the signing done. He said, “I’m delighted to have him on board and the experience he all bring to our young side.
“He’s a proven player at the level and his best years are ahead of him. I’m sure the Salisbury fans will enjoy having him.”
Carroll is available for selection against Chelmsford City this afternoon.
