Our fixture with Chesham United, which is due to be played tomorrow evening (28th January), has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Following a huge amount of rainfall over the weekend and the continued rain on Monday, the pitch was deemed unplayable by a local referee.
Chesham United said in a statement, “An early decision was made with the pitch currently waterlogged and unplayable with no prospect of the required improvement with additional rain expected over the next 24 hours. A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.”
That means Salisbury’s next fixture will now be the trip to Hornchurch on Saturday – kick-off is at 3 pm.
