Salisbury were brought back down to earth with a bump with a defeat against a very good Worthing Side.
A goal in each half from Danny Cashman and Harrison smith gave the visitors all three points at the Ray Mac.
The first half started brightly with the visitors causing some early problems for Salisbury, Dan Lincoln saving well at the feet of Colbran in the first minute.
Lincoln did well to tip a looping cross away from underneath his cross bar, Colbran's effort at the back post was blocked away by Josh Sommerton in the ninth minute.
Then came the opening goal, much to the home side's frustration. George Franklin raised his arms to protect his face from a point-blank effort, and referee Tom Ellsmore pointed at the spot with 23rd minutes on the clock.
Danny Cashman stepped up and confidently stroked home the penalty in the 24th minute to give Worthing the lead.
Salisbury huffed and puffed and finally tested Craig Haigh in the first minute of added time, with Cameron Coxe's effort cannoning back at Haigh, who didn't know much about it. It persevered Worthing's single-goal lead at halftime.
Worthing took advantage of a Salisbury slip-up at the back five minutes into the second half and doubled their lead. Josh Sommerton was put under pressure, and his back pass put Lincoln in trouble. Temi Babalola closed down well and forced a mistake before he teed up Harrison Smith, who tucked the ball home.
Jaden Perez came close to pulling a goal back for Salisbury, his well struck freekick from 25-yards clipping the top of the crossbar on the way over in the 68th minute.
Babalola had two chances in three minutes to extend Worthing's lead, but first, he slashed wide in the 73rd minute before three minutes later sliding the ball across the face of the goal from wide.
Salisbury survived a third thanks to the crossbar when Colbran's well-struck shot cannoned back off the bar in the 84th minute. Babalola struck the rebound high and wide.
Worthing saw the game out and completed their two-nil victory.
